I swear I must have jinxed it. Just the other day I was telling my roommate that it was a miracle it has not rained once since we have been in Blacksburg. This week, however, we are not so lucky. So far we are 2-for-2 days with rain, rain, rain.
The campus is dark and gray, everyone is wearing their raincoats, rainboots, ponchos, umbrellas, and hats, and the overall mood is just lower than usual. As easy as it is to feel down in the dumps as a result of the cold and rainy weather, I always try to remind myself and the people around me not to let the weather affect your attitude.

It has been a rainy mess here for the past two days! The forecast is calling for rain all week :(
ReplyDeleteI was counting how many people got off the BT with frowns until I got to one with a smile. (I eventually saw one after about 20) Sometimes a good downpour can do ya good! Especially if you grab a nap.

oh my gosh its been the same at my campus as well :( rain the last 2 days. totally feels like winter. i want summer back! i feel like i didn't get a chance to wear summer clothes to school haha i am bummed!
